Mr. M.S. Gandhi :: G.D. Education Society is spearheaded by chairperson Mr. M.S. Gandhi, a visionary, who has always encouraged his family members to contribute and facilitate the spread of quality education.

Mr. Amarjit, Mr Paramjit and Mr Gagandeep :: They are the trustees of the society. They all are qualified engineers from reputed universities in India and United States. Armed with requisite expertise and dynamism the trustees are dedicated to the cause of providing quality education at par with international standards.

Brig. Sudhir Kumar(Retd.) and Lt. Cdr. Navneet Kumar(Retd.):: He is Co-trustee of the G.D.Education Society, is a qualified educationist with substantial experience in running public schools in Punjab and Delhi. Being an academician he has been instrumental in lending impetus to his goal of achieving the holistic development of children and raising the standards of administration of the schools he has been associated with. He is assisted by his son Lt. Cdr. Navneet Kumar, who is also among the trustees of the institution.

Advisory Board

Our advisory board will assist us in activities and projects of the Primary School and help us ensure that objectives set by school in its mission statement are being fulfilled. The board consists of a team of eminent personalities from diverse fields.

Advisory Members at Noida

Dr. Kavita Sharma : Principal of Hindu College, Delhi University
She is presently principal of Hindu College, University of Delhi. She also founder member of Sriram International School, New Delhi and advisory member of Modern School, New Delhi. She has been teaching in Hindu College since July 1971 and has held position of reader in the Dept of English. She is also honorary visiting lecturer at Tokyo Women's Christian College(1974-75) and University of Indonesia(1977-78). She is an author of several books, reviews, articles and research articles to her credit the latest being "the powerful women of Mahabharta". She has also been awarded faculty enrichment fellowship by the Shastri Indo Canadian Institute at Vancouver, for the academic year 1991-92. Awarded fellowship by Shastri Indo Canadian for Faculty research programme at Ottawa, for the academic year 2002-2003.

 

Dr. C.K. Seth : Reader, Chemistry Department, Delhi University
Currently teaching in Hindu College. He has worked with renowned scientists Dr. Krisfer and Dr. Atkins. He has written computer science books for I.C.S.E. Board from Nursery to Grade XII. He has also been instrumental in starting a new subject in Delhi University "Application of Computers in Physicl Chemistry" and launching online quiz for the students for Grade X - XII in science and mathematics.

 

Mr. Debu Mishra : Vice President , Amar Ujala
Mr. Debu Mishra is Vice president, All India sales, Amar Ujala. He is a Post graduate in Applied and analytical economics. Started his career with Godfrey Philips and then joined Times Of India -Bhuwenashwar and Times of India Delhi/NCR. He was also heading sales of Delhi/NCR while working with Hindustan Times.

Prahlad & Mitali Kakkar::
A larger than life & effervescent Ad filmmaker, he started Genesis Film Productions Pvt. Ltd. He is the proud recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to Advertising and Film Art. Prahlad is the founder of the Scuba Diving School in India, and also the co-founder of Reef Watch Marine Conservation. Bearing in mind his creative skills and expertise, his valuable contribution is Developing & enhancing creativity amongst children.
Reef Watch Marine Conservation founded by Mitali Kakkar, has made commendable progress in the field of education, awareness and research on marine conservation. In addition to being a director with Genesis Film Productions, she is also a governing body member of the Wild Life Institute of India. Her passion for environment has led her to document several films on coral reefs and marine life. Her exalted guidance will facilitate the school with its Environmental Awareness and Conservation Program.

Keith Butler::
Celebrating the spirit of the stylus, Keith has several famed short stories to his credit. His Sodasi won the prestigious Melbourne Short Story prize. Recipient of Australian Federal writing grants, Keith is often approached to interpret India for Australian readers. He is on the verge of finishing his first novel A secret Vindaloo, soon to be released in India, Australia & New Zealand. Along with a passion for writing, he is keenly interested in teaching as well. He has been a teacher for over 30 years now, and actively contributes to the curriculum programs around the world. He also initiated the Gifted Children's program at Billanook College, where he is presently teaching. The Indo-Australian curriculum of Billabong High captures his interest, and he will be advising us on Language and Literature programs.

Sonia Grinceri ::
Sonia Grinceri is the Regional Director, Western Australian Trade Office in India, with the Department of Industry and Resources, Government of Australia. Prior to her bountiful experience of 14 years in International Marketing and Investment attraction, Sonia worked for 20 years in Western Australia initially as high school teacher and a sub school head of Hamilton Senior High School. In 1983, Sonia was seconded to the Curriculum Branch of the Ministry of Education where she developed the Oral language Communication syllabus for secondary school. During this period she was the co-founder of the Western Australia Youth Theatre Company, now a launching pad for young talent. Sonia will play an instrumental role in strengthening our ties with Australian Educational Institutes.

Dr Ishaverlal Desai ::
Dr Desai has been the head of the unit for Disability Studies and Integration in the Department of Learning and Educational Development in the Faculty of Education at the University if Melbourne. Internationally known for his teaching experience, for the past 30 years, he has presented over 100 papers, seminars, and workshops in various parts of the world. He is the recipient of numerous scholarships and awards such as the British Council Scholarship to study at Cambridge University, the Fulbright-Hayes Leader Exchange Scholarship to study at Columbia University, New York, the Golden Gateway citation for outstanding leadership and services to community organizations and school in South Africa for children and adolescents who are intellectually disabled and physically and health impaired.

Dr Richard Johnson ::
Recipient of Deakin University Vice Chancellor's Award for Outstanding Achievement for the category of Outstanding Teacher year 2000. Dr Johnson teaches as a senior lecturer at Deakin University, School of Social and Cultural Studies in Education, Melbourne Campus, Australia. His vital contributions in the field are evident through his intensive research work, which has been closely interrelated to issues of new learning technologies and teacher education. He has also worked collaboratively with the Learning Environments and Teacher Education Faculty Research Group to develop the Changing Connections: The Social and Pedagogical Implications of New Learning Technologies project.
